Video diversion publisher Bethesda isn’t a large fan of Westworld. It has filed a lawsuit that accuses a show’s prolongation association of a “blatant rip-off” of one of a games.
Warner Bros. recently expelled a Westworld mobile diversion formed on a uncover of a same name. Bethesda claims in a suit, filed in a Maryland District Court on Thursday, that a new diversion is a fraud a Fallout Shelter mobile game, that was after done accessible on a Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
According to Bethesda, a new Westworld game “has a same or rarely identical diversion design, art style, animations, facilities and other gameplay elements,” video diversion news site Polygon reported. The fit accuses Warner Bros. and Behaviour Interactive, that co-developed a video game, of copyright infringement, crack of contract, and misappropriating trade secrets.
Bethesda is suing for damages, though no volume was specified.
Bethesda claims that Behaviour Interactive used a same formula from Fallout Shelter in Westworld, noting a bug found in an early chronicle of Fallout Shelter, that was after corrected, was also found in Westworld.
