Hey Google, where are a rest of those Google Home facilities from …

Google I/O 2017 happened over half a year ago during this point, and a ton was announced during a company’s annual developer conference. A lot of that surrounded Google Assistant, and Google Home in particular. However, many of a things announced during I/O still haven’t arrived, so what gives?

The best gifts for Android users

What do we already have?

– Hands Free Calling

Obviously, a biggest underline that was announced during I/O has already arrived, hands-free calling. And that’s usually gotten improved given a debut. At launch, this underline possibly used a private series or your Google Voice number, that was already great, yet now it can even tie into your customary phone number.

This is one of a best additions to Google Home given a launch, yet it’s not all we were betrothed during a event.

– Bluetooth audio streaming

Another underline Google betrothed and delivered on was a ability to use Google Home inclination as Bluetooth speakers. Through an choice in a Home app, users can easily span their phones to a Home speaker and use it like we would any other wireless speaker.

What about a rest?

Those dual facilities are overwhelming additions to Google Home devices, yet that’s not all Google pronounced was entrance to Home.

– Hulu, Google Play Movies, and some-more for hands-free casting

One of a things I’ve been looking brazen to many is some-more services being combined to hands-free casting. Netflix and YouTube have been available given launch, and we’ve solemnly seen other services combined in a months given I/O, such as HBO Now and CBS. YouTube TV was also recently added.

There were several others promises behind during I/O, however, and it’s peculiar that we’ve listened zero about them given then. Hulu, Crackle, HGTV, a Food Network, Red Bull TV, and even Google’s possess Play Movies are all on a list, yet nothing have been enabled so far. At this point, we don’t even know if these services are still removing this functionality.

– Visual responses w/ Chromecast integration

Another Chromecast-related underline that was ostensible to arrive is visible responses. This is designed to pull information such as directions or calendar events to your phone or Chromecast connected TV. This is a primary instance of what Google’s Assistant ecosystem is able of, yet it has nonetheless to arrive or even be mentioned given I/O.

– Proactive Assistance

This is a large one, though. Proactive Assistance is potentially a diversion changer in terms of utility with an Assistant speaker. Getting proactive, yet pointed notifications from Home for things like trade updates for your invert is something that would be insanely useful.

These are all facilities fans of Google Home have been looking brazen to for months, and while we’ve got a lot of good things in a meantime, a doubt has to be asked — where are all of these features?
